Neuro Salut Mental Internacional Jornades Notícies Socis

Clariane, WMIF25 sponsor and member of WeMind Cluster, will take centre stage at the WeMind International Forum 2025 with a powerful lineup of keynote sessions addressing some of the most pressing topics in mental health and care.
Clariane

On 25 November, Clariane will sponsor two main plenary keynotes within the Care & Assistance vertical, bringing together international experts to discuss the evolving landscape of psychiatric care and diagnosis. That same afternoon, the company will also present four additional sessions in the Thematic Area, extending its contribution to the forum’s in-depth conversations on mental health and care innovation.

Mental health at the heart of the main stage

The first plenary session, “Inflammation in Psychiatry” (12:15–13:00), will feature insights from Dr. Eduard Vieta, Head of the Psychiatry and Psychology Department at Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, and Dr. Maria Isabel Arguello, psychiatrist from ITA Salud Mental. The session will explore how inflammatory processes intersect with psychiatric disorders, opening new avenues for diagnosis and treatment.

Immediately following, the session “ADHD: Overdiagnosed or Underdiagnosed?” (13:00–13:45) will examine the nuances of diagnosing ADHD across populations. The panel includes Dr. Aaron Winkler, a neuroscientist from Stanford University, and Dr. Amine Benyamina, Professor of Psychiatry at University Hospital Paul Brousse in France, both of whom bring deep clinical and research expertise on neurodevelopmental conditions.

Afternoon deep dive: Innovation Days at WMIF

Later the same day, Clariane will present a curated block of four additional keynotes in the Care & Assistance Thematic Area (15:00–17:00), each aligned with its ongoing Innovation Days initiative—and officially part of the WMIF Hosted Events programme.

These sessions, led by renowned experts, include:

  • “GLP-1 Agonists in Psychiatry” (15:00) with Dr. Philippe Nuss, Psychiatrist at Hôpital Saint-Antoine and faculty at Sorbonne University, exploring metabolic treatments for mental disorders.
  • “Non-Pharmacological Therapies for Eating Disorders: Rehabilitation” (15:30) by Dr. Antonio Sarnicola, Italian Hospital Group, focusing on therapeutic interventions beyond medication.
  • “Non-Pharmacological Therapies for Eating Disorders: Brain Stimulation” (16:00) with Dr. Luis Beato-Fernández, Professor of Psychiatry at Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha, discussing neuromodulation techniques for eating disorders.
  • “New Synthetic Drugs & Addiction” (16:30), featuring Dr. Benjamin Rolland, specialist in addiction psychiatry at the University Hospital of Lyon, addressing the public health risks posed by emerging psychoactive substances.
Clariane’s commitment to innovation in mental health

These sessions showcase Clariane’s continued investment in clinical excellence and forward-looking research across Europe. Through its Innovation Days—held in Brebbia, Italy—Clariane fosters knowledge exchange and interdisciplinary dialogue in psychiatric care, neuropsychiatry, and rehabilitation.

By aligning this initiative with WMIF 2025, Clariane strengthens its role as a thought leader in the care ecosystem and reaffirms its commitment to person-centred, science-driven innovation.
