Healthcare professionals have been on the front line during the COVID-19 pandemic, and it has negatively affected their mental well-being. Finding innovative ways to take care of their emotional health while treating and preventing mental exhaustion is an urgent need. To respond to this challenge, Hospital Universitari Vall d’Hebron in Barcelona has worked with the immersive technology startup Broomx, to provide guided immersive mindfulness therapies that combat pandemic fatigue and other mental disorders.
