Recently, the Australian Government announced it will support successful applications on this round with funding for an Australian university for up to AUD$500,000 for a maximum 5 years. This is on top of the EU budget so it allows consortia to expand their activity without affecting EU budgets.
RMIT University is allowed to participate in Horizon funding calls as we have a hub in Barcelona, Spain. We are currently members of several successful consortiums working on a range of health topics. We are currently participating in the HORIZON-HLTH-2021-STAYHLTH-01-03 Staying Healthy topic, developing digital literacy strategies for the EU.
Considering the Resilience and mental wellbeing of the health and care workforce call, we believe we bring several strengths to a consortium in relation to digital health and digital literacy. We have more than 12 years research expertise in workforce research and bring considerable social science expertise. We believe we can contribute to a consortium application by examining how digital infrastructure has impacted the resilience and mental wellbeing of the health and care workforce and developing digital innovative solutions to support mental wellness in the workforce.
